Best Wii game for nearly 5 year old DS

DS and DD are getting the console for Christmas. It was easy to find games that she likes but more difficult for DS. He has never played computer games before and I am looking for something fairly easy for his age that will hold his interest and non-violent (he likes Ben 10 but I am not sure if suitable). GPs are buying Toy Story for him. Any ideas welcome thanks.

Definitely the Lego games. We have nearly all of them.

Mine all love Mariokart (ages 5.5, 3.7 and 14mo). They're getting Mario Galaxy for Christmas - DP and I conducted a little testing session and it looks great. Look out for the Nintendo Selects series - bestselling games for about £15.

Mariokart huge hit with my ds(5) also Sonic Sega allstars racing. The Lego games Are great but bit complex for younger ones In our experience.

DS (5) loves Cars (he has Cars 2 on his wishlist).

It does kind of have a plot and you have to do certain bits to progress or you can just drive round a lot jumping off things.

Lego games are good (and cheap). He'll probably enjoy the free sports game that goes with it too. We love Lego Rock Band, but it needs loads of peripherals.
