I saw my Christmas turkey on the telly!!!!

It was on "Great British Food Revival" last week. Just need to make sure that Angela doesn't pull celebrity rank and get my little beauty for herself!

It was! Gorgeous looking thing too.

I used to stop by the field where my Christmas Goose was roaming free, they would always come running up to the gate to greet people. I sure it was ... Human = Food. It was interesting seeing them grow. Then the day would come when the field was empty

My Mum said it was cruel to go and watch them....

I grew up with fields in front of and behind my house filled with cows. For years I would see them all Spring/Summer grazing, then they'd disappear and reappear the following Spring. I used to name them and feed them. Loved them!
When I was 15 I went to Waitrose and saw the farmer's picture on the wall. Apparently he supplies all the beef for the local store.
I've been vegetarian since.
