Do you test toys before wrapping them?

The ones that have batteries? Or do you just hope they will be ok. I'm a bit concerned about disappointment on Christmas morning but otoh don't want to spoil the look of the toys.

Always, bitter voice of experience, as I child my playstation was returned 11 times :( and last year I had a recuring issue with the in car dvd players we brought the dcs, 6 returns then I had a bloody great strop and refused to move until they gave me cash!

Always check and leave batteries in to save having to do it on christmas morn my two are too young to notice though

Thanks, looks like I should do it then. I suppose it would be an awful shame if she opened it and then couldn't play with it.

And remove all plastic ties that will flummox you on Christmas morning- this is dh's job while i go to the panto on christmas eve
