Advent Calender- what do you put in yours!

Hi just wondered if anyone filled the calender with something other than sweets/chocs for their dc's. Some ideas would be great. Thanks

Well this will be the first year I have done one as dc is only 2. I have a hanging Advent Calendar with pockets that I have had for years. My dc adored going to the zoo for the first time a little while ago so I had the idea to buy 24 animals and put one in each pocket to make a zoo by Christmas. It would be quite expensive I think as the individual animals aren't cheap but it would end up being one of her Christmas presents really as we aren't getting her anything 'big' this year as other relatives are doing that!
I'd best get on with finding 24 different small animals hadn't I!!!
