I'd like to get DS a woodwork set for Christmas, ideally along the lines of this one from amazon.
This particular kit appears on Amazon from a couple of different sellers and from the description and the reviews, I don't think the tools are going to be good enough quality. He'd be using them for balsa or other soft woods at first.
Am I going to have to buy everything separately from a DIY shop, or has anyone seen this type of kit that includes real tools (ie: not a toy)?
If I buy tools separately, what do I need? I am no woodworking expert, as you may guess.
