Thinking of getting a cheapish tablet for dd, any ideas?

That's it really.

DD1 is 8 and would love an ipad, in much the same way as I would love to be a millionaire. Neither of these things are likely to happen so I'm looking for a cheaper version for her, around the £150 mark.

I've read around 50000 reviews on Amazon and the like about loads of different models, but they all seem so mixed. I would ideally like a 10inch screen for her and something with Flash player.

Has anyone got one they would recommend? Or equally what to avoid!

Thanks, Blue. I think virtually all the tabs I have seen use the 2.2 Android system. It's just finding one that works as advertised within my budget! I'm thinking of this one although it is over budget, it seems ok and uses 3.3 Android.

The main problem is I nothing about any of this and the reviews on the one I thought was ok before seem quite mixed.

Heard good things about the Archos.

I looked at that one on the net Lissielou, and thought it looked good. The only thing that put me off is one of the reviews says they have been waiting weeks for theirs to arrive. So I rang the call centre and was told they have 3 in stock at my local branch. I went to get one to be told that the 3 they have have all been returned as faulty. Bit of a worry!

I'll have a google for Archos, Break.
