DD has specifically asked for the Polly Pocket Waterslide FunPark for Christmas which she has seen advertised on Nick Jr. I have looked online and can only find the Ice Cream Water Park. Or, on ebay, 'vintage' waterslide fun parks.

Does anyone know whether the waterslide fun park is still available, or has anyone seen the tv ad and know which set it is referring to?

It's the only thing she has specifically asked for - I can't cock it up!!

TIA

my dds are obsessed with polly pocket and i love buying it cause they use it so much!!! the waterslide is the ice cream one which sold for about £16 but its out of stock in most places - plus its fairly small. I havent seen that advertised on nick jr but i have seen the rocking concert - it has slides and is a big-ish present - usually £50 but reduced to £37 in most places (DD has got it for xmas and it looks fab)!!!! are you sure she didnt mean this one as its advertised everywhere lately?

JujyFruits · 07/11/2011 11:54

The ice cream one is on amazon

here

I've seen the concert one too.

DD has some (older) polly pocket stuff and TBH I've found it's quite flimsy and not worth the money. But DD still loves them.

You're going to have to ask your DD for clarification I'm afraid!

if it is the polly pocket ice cream waterpark - amazon has it in stock for £16 including free delivery!

sunnyday123 · 07/11/2011 11:58

x-posts with july! I agree it is flimsy but my dds aged 4 and 6 love it and play with it year on year - by far the best present they've had for longevity.

This year they are getting the entire argos range from grandparents (was all reduced last month) - you just have to keep on top of it. I have one of those clear storage tubs which is all goes in. If only I was 6.......!

My dd is 8 and has asked for the polly pocket concert playset. I th

Oops Blush
Meant to add I think she's a bit too old at 8 for polly pocket. What do you think?

JujyFruits · 07/11/2011 16:19

No not at all dilly!
I thought my DD was too young at 4 - as it's all about fashion and rock concerts and stuff she has no concept off. And a lot of it is very fiddly, she's always asking me to dress Polly in her little rubber outfit and it drives me insane!

paddingtonbear1 · 07/11/2011 16:28

My dd (also 8) has asked for the Polly jet plane for xmas. I'll probably get it as I know she'll play with it - I think the recommended age for a lot of the Polly sets is up to 10.

Dillydollydaydream · 07/11/2011 17:16

Ah that's good to know. I wasn't really sure!
She's got lots of SFs and we have got her the regency hotel as it was 1/2 price in Argos but the only other things on her list is this polly pocket concert playset and Lalaloopsy doll?! Hmm

Thank you all for your replies! I had seen the ice cream one on amazon so I think I will just order it and then keep an eye out for the tv ad in case it's something different! Don't want to risk leaving it too long and then not being able to get it.

Point noted about it being flimsy Jujy -i expected as much! I know it's all overpriced tat but that is always the type of thing DD likes best! At least it seems the one she has asked for is only a small playset.

Thanks again
