Christmas present for the man who walks our dog for us when we are stuck.

I would like to get this man a lovely gift for Christmas to show our appreciation.

He is a professional dog walker but has gone above and beyond the call of duty, making sure our dog (a rescue) is happy when he is with him.

He takes him into his home when we are out for the day and he loves him. I think it is this love that I am so grateful for. Our dog was clearly unloved at some point but we all adore him and it is great to know that this family do too.

I know he won't be expecting anything at all and I have thought of the obvious beer, wine, chocolate sort of stuff. I just wanted to make it something a bit more special, although I have no idea what that would be.

Budget is about £10.

How about hand warmers for when he walks the dogs ?

Great idea Lily thank you. Have you used them yourself?

Not that particular one , mine was more like a mini hot water bottle a bit girly though , was great for when i was walking the dog. Think you can get feet warmers to.

Handwarmers sound like a nice idea, also you could look at a real quality pair of walking socks from North Face or a good outdoor brand? And those gloves where the tops unfasten could be handy for putting on leads with clasps?

Socks are also a fantastic idea - not the usual boring socks but special ones like you suggest Binfull. Thank you.
