Storio for a 2 year old?

I am considering the Vtech storio for my son. He will be just over two and a half at Christmas and is probably of average ability, I mean he's not especially advanced for his age or anything. Does anyone know what the Storio is like? Would he struggle? I like it because lots of DS's favourite characters are available on the cartridges and I could get it with my tesco clubcard vouchers (mind boggles when realise how much have spent at Tesco this year!)
My son likes my laptop / iphone but I worry he will break these so thought a child friendly version of something that will seem similar to him might be good, although recommended age is 3-7.

Any thoughs? Any opinions much appreciated.

Hey Bethshine82, we got our 3yo a LeapPad Explorer for Xmas, granted I think it is slightly more expensive than the Storio but it acts like a toddler version of the iPad and would be a good learning tool if your wee one is due to start nursery when he turns 3. I can't wait to see my wee lad's face on Xmas morning when he opens as we've got him the Cars2 game and he is obsessed with everything Lightning McQueen atm lol. Check it out and see what you think, might last for longer than the storio in terms of keeping his interest and I think it has more features available than the storio. We got ours in Smyths toystore for £75.00 but they are available in Tesco and Argos too, although be quick as they are very much sought after this year as the no. 1 selling item of 2011 (took hours of trawling websites at lunchtime in work to find somewhere that was selling them!) I think Tesco had them reduced as well but not sure if they were in stock online... Let me know how you get on :O
