Tesco Christmas clubcard voucher exchange

Can anyone explain this to me! I have about £100 of vouchers and have just received a booklet from Tesco saying I have another £8 worth of vouchers plus £21.50 worth of unspent vouchers. Then it mentions the clubcard voucher exchange when you get double the worth of your vouchers to buy things in november but seems to suggest you have to cash the vouchers in first?

If I want to buy a television from them using my vouchers; can I buy it online using the vouchers (at double their worth)? or do I have to send of for the vouchers and go to the store and hope it's in stock??

You can use them online - scroll down here and it gives you the info www.tesco.com/clubcard/clubcard/bigexchange.asp

Ah, poo. Looks like you can't buy TVs anyway! Or groceries-so you can't do a Christmas food shop.

That's a pain!

Thanks for your reply though :)

I used my vouchers on my electric bill. With e-on they give 1.5 the value. I was impressed that they told me I had unused vouchers. Very unimpressed with myself that I had actually lost said vouchers.

If you log in to you account, I've just found all the vouchers listed with the numbers and whether you've used them or not-so it shouldn't matter if you've lost them!

Aye, I know - that's what I did last night and cashed them in for a months lecy :) Just annoyed at my usual disorganisation is all.

Appuskidu · 02/11/2011 12:39

Ah, sorry-I misunderstood!

Glad they weren't lost!

Ooh just exchanged mine online and ordered £80 worth of toys for free! Fantastic! Even got free delivery to my local tesco. Dd will love her playmobil!

Whorulestheroost · 03/11/2011 10:44

You can use them on groceries but they won't double the value of them. I have been saving mine all year for this and have £120 so am going to double them for toys £240, christmas sorted :)

flipflopflap · 03/11/2011 19:26

I didn't have as much as some of you but I doubled them on clothes and toys, so got £60 worth of toys and a £20 dress for myself, all for free. Very happy with that Grin

I always spend them on magazine subscriptions for myself but what a good idea - I will save them from Jan and use them for Christmas next year
