I would like some help to find presents for my dd (3.8) and my ds (6). I have already bought dd a playmobil pool. I'm not sure what to get ds. I want something that they are going to get a lot of play value from and not be cast aside gathering dust within 5 minutes of opening.

We have lego, brio, some playmobil which seem to be well used. I was hoping some kind mn could come up with something I haven't thought about. We don't have a garden , so no trampolines etc..

I would stick with playmobil and lego as you know it will get played with. Or maybe a wooden castle playset for ds??

An indoor play tent? One of those ones that is easily collapsible and put-away-able Grin I'm getting this for my two. There are loads on Amazon.

double sided easel? They could both use at the same time then.

We got our dds one of those pop-up tents from Millets when they were about that age and they had loads of use from it. They did use it in the garden but more often than not they had it up indoors - they slept in it a lot too!

Another couple of ideas for things they could share are:

  • big box of paper/paints etc
  • big mixing bowl full of cake cases, icing, sugar sprinkles etc and a wooden spoon each
  • dressing up box full of silly hats, wigs etc
