www.hannaandersson.com/style.asp?styleid=NF33080&from=BA - love these for DS, who will be 14mo @ Christmas, but with P&P from the US, they are £$£! Does anyone know where I may find something similar here in the UK please?

Tia.

Aw Cat- I love hanna andersson play dresses...

Too many here to show, some very retro ones and one almost perfect (just not the colour).

karaoke, that one is divine! I will check out the store in person, on the off chance the website isn't accurate re the sizes. Thank you!

Not bad, Mumbling, thank you, especially your second link - cute hat/hood.

Bertie, DS had that exact same snowman outfit last year! I have a photo of him in it on my profile. :)
LOVE those eBay leggings - I may have to get those!
Your H&M links didn't work for me.

Cat, have not heard of Hanna Andersson before, I don't like the price, but I love this sleep suit.

Grainger, those Very ones are fab fab fab! I like the Gap aeroplane one too. Thanks!

Thank you everyone for your help.

Cat, I think I need this: click to second image. Really, I do!

Ah okay - if you look on the H&M website on the Baby Boy (up to 18 months) section there is a knitted jumper in similar style to original one, choice of red/maroon or navy blue/white. Then on page 3 of that section there's a knitted cardigan with again similar design, and also penguins. I expect they would have them in store too.

NoHunIntended · 27/10/2011 13:18

Thank you, BertieBotts! Found the penguin one, rather cute! I'll go to the shops soon, see what I can find.

NoHun You are a bad influence as I keep looking at the PJ's the same as the romper... but the postage Shock oh my. I have bought quite a bit off Ebay.com and the postage for a romper/pj's should not be $40

NoHunIntended · 27/10/2011 19:55

oldraver, I try! :)
I know - the postage stinks. I have signed up to their mailing list for discount codes, so it might make it easier. It is the nicest little set I've seen though, and I am threatening DH with the matching adult sets! If I had more than one child, I'd be getting us family outfits for sure! :o

Had a wee idea NoHun, might there be a US MNer who you could get them delivered to and forward to you for

NoHunIntended · 27/10/2011 21:30

Thanks, I do have several US friends, but it's only a ten dollar saving, not a huge saving for causing someone the hassle.

NoHun, let us know what it's like if you see it- I'm trying to convince sis she needs it for my baby nephew, she's resisting so far!

NoHunIntended · 28/10/2011 00:32

Will do, Karaoke. It is rather expensive still, £18 for a babygro - ouch!

Karaoke , the white outfit with red reindeer is gorgeous, saw it today. I still think it is overpriced though.

Nohun, I think youshould buythe one you like, it's super cute and your little one will wear it for a few weeks, so it won't really get soiled. Then I would sell it on Ebay the following year. I would definitely pay about 10 for it second hand, as i think it's so cute.

Plus they are giving a donation to charity which should make you feel better.

If the post is per pavkage, rather than by weight or size, why not buy a few items that you've shown us you like. If they gift wrap it, i find and post as a gift you escape duty charges.

NoHunIntended · 29/10/2011 22:57

Binfull, ooh, I am tempted! And I'd re-use on any subsequent children we may be lucky enough to have! But that then got me thinking, maybe we should wait to see how many children we end up with, and then buy the matching family set! :)
I love this too: www.hannaandersson.com/style.asp?from=SC%7c4%7c1%7c476%7c479%7c0%7c457%7c2&simg=38198_53H, but they DO add extra postage per item, so it is just getting crazy pricey. We can afford it ok (won't starve, but am trying to be more frugal), I just don't like paying over the odds.

Get them all!!! We are off to Lapland for Christmas and I am now so tempted to join you, imagine us in our log cabin lounging around in our thermals...

I had a look on Polarn O. Pyret for you, but there wasn't much, however keep checking their site. Have you heard of them? They are a Swedish kids company:

polarnopyret.co.uk/

I love Sweden, abd we used to visit a lot aroubd Christmas so appreciate the traditional design prints of the season and the red, white, green stencil patterns.

NoHunIntended · 29/10/2011 23:20

Ha ha, ooh, you would look fab! How many of you are there? Wow re Lapland. It is on our to-do list when DS (and any future DC) are a bit older. If you get the set, PLEASE take photos and share on here!

I was on POP only today, they have a gorgeous set of moose thermals, just out of stock in DS's size, and again, £££ anyway! I really am trying to not go spend-crazy!

Binfullofmaggotsonthe45 · 29/10/2011 23:48

I know what you mean about spending but i am such a Christmas person. It's the only time I splash out, and I like to buy quality things that will have lasting value and meaning.

We don't drink, smoke or have pricey hobbies, and don't generally spend a lot on ourzelves so this is our season for enjoyment.

There are just the three of us going,dh, ds 6 yo and me! So excited.

NoHunIntended · 29/10/2011 23:58

Same here! Totally same - I tend to buy quality that lasts. But with children's clothes, unless you have more children, of which there is no guarantee, pricey baby clothes don't really give me that feeling of having gotten value for money.
We also don't smoke or drink, we are vegan which is an inexpensive diet, etc etc, but owww, the price just doesn't thrill me! But I do love love love Christmas!

Have a wonderful time, am excited for you!

Thank you, you too, every year is a different Christmas experience with your child, each one as fantastic in it's own way.

oldraver · 30/10/2011 00:51

NoHun.... I have seen an almost identical outfit to the red knitted one you linked to

Only thing is I had one of those massive shops and took in Sainsburys, Boots Mothercare, Matalan, TK Max and Asda Living so it one of them Grin

NoHunIntended · 30/10/2011 01:26

True, Binfull. Last year DS was only 11 weeks old and it was a wonderful Christmas.

Ha, well thank you anyway, oldraver!!! :o I have been in all of those recently apart from Matalan and Asda, as neither are local to me, so maybe it's in one of those two, as I don't remember seeing anything similar in the others.

Gulp! Well, I have thrown caution to the wind, and bought the PJs in my OP! And I thought I may as well get the cute red romper whilst I was there! Put it on the CC that we aren't paying off til next year! :)
