Well, it says it all, my DS is 4 and I have no idea what bigger kids enjoy.

I don't see my GC much as they live abroad. I am hoping to spend £20-30 each and need to either have presents delivered directly (eg amazon) or post them myself early from UK to Europe.
Any suggestion, please? what do you DC around this age like, or have really enjoyed previously?
Thank you for helping me get inspired.

The easiest and safest gift to organise would be an Amazon voucher.

Can you ask their mum about any hobbies that they may have?

I'd maybe go for a remote controlled helicopter for a teenage boy and for the 10 year old girl I'd maybe go for something crafty like a mystyle craft kit but I'm making big assumptions that they are "typical" of their age/sex.

no idea for the boy - looking for ideas for one myself!!
my 11 year old dd now loves fashion design stuff like fashion angels, perfume, smellies, junky jewellery, scarfs, makes up, wii games, music, books -got her a lovely crean 'grown-up' jewellry box last year (half price in argos just now £17ish) whcih she loves - all wee drawers and secret bits.
Hope that helps a bit.

My dd is 10 and she loves stuff like this
A shop near us sells a whole range of this kind of thing - really beautiful, grown up colouring in. It is all excellent quality, they do lots of other kits too.

No idea for a 14 year old boy though!

That's a lovely website tummytickler - having a look for my 9 year old dd!

My teenagers would really love some head kandi headphones, the type that look like ear muffs. They already have ipods, but the headphones never last long. These ones are stylish and good quality.

Ten year old girls vary so much in how mature they think they are. It's hard to judge what they would like. I think some quality art things would be a good bet.

Definately an amazon voucher, mine love it when their american godparents send a voucher,it comes to my email address and then they would get an ecard with a message, if there was nothing they wanted on amazon I gave them the cash to get what they wanted when out shopping.

thanks a lot, I will check if GD likes arty crafty things, last year she was mad about horses and I got he brushes and a box for her kit.

For 14y GS, someone suggested an army knife as he is the outdoors scout type , so may check with parents if they 're ok with a simple one.
