because we lost all of ours in our house move (I knew the attic was the worst place to put them) and am practically giddy with festive joy!

colour scheme is red, white and green. I need a fairy topper (pref wooden, Im thinking lots of natural materials and quite shabby) and all sorts!

Oh lovely TDW (may i call you TDW? :) ) So far I'm definitely making a wreath of some kind, the ginger bread man garland and I love the jumper stockings, may have to go round charity shops at the weekend and see if i can find any.

Need glass now, I have visions of beautiful twinkly glass on my table for dinner

Call me whatever you like Grin

Yes I think I need to plan this out in my mind. I have no idea if its just DH, DD and I for xmas or whether my family will decide to join us. We've moved loads in 18 months too and my mum and I kept swapping xmas trees as the respective trees didnt fit in our houses. Now I fear I have a slimline tree for a great big lounge dinner! Pah!

I know - I need to sort out exactly what i'm doing as well, got over excited by ideas. Not even thought about who's coming yet, or what we'll eat, or drink.

Think I'm gonna attempt to make a terrine for starter as DH would love it, then turkey with Jamies ultimate gravy and some stuffing recipe that I got off good food, i make them into little parcels with bacon round them. No idea what veg, usually boil it to death like my mum's xmas dinner ha ha. For pud I'm gonna do christmas pudding and a chocolate orange cheese cake. Then make some quiches and a nice ham. but ham baffles me a bit!

To drink...hmmm DH will prob consume various ciders and as I'm pregnant orange juice. Nah actually I'm gonna try and make virgin cocktails as a treat! Its the food fesitval near me this weekend so I may have a glance round that for ideas. Bet its full of stilton, brie and pate with real ales and ciders!
