...what are you getting your 5 or 3 year old girls please??

Whilst I do have some ideas/wish lists, they both have birthdays near christmas too so am quickly exhausted in ideas and purse. I really don't want to buy into the gross Roman excess we mistakenly stumbled through last year and as they already have everything a little girl could want (what happened to the days of a couple of metallic polonecks and a barbie?)
Just wondering what you are all getting asked for? Inspire me!!

DD's fifth birthday is just after Christmas, I get stressed thinking of presents that effectively need to last a whole year! So probably those, one for Christmas and one for birthday.

She has also just got a Lottie doll from my mum, so maybe some clothes for her doll and maybe another doll. Can't rate the Lottie dolls enough, they're lovely and 'little-girl-like' rather than surgically-enhanced Barbie . www.lottie.com/

Other stuff will probably be arts and craft bits and bobs and a colouring book, and suggesting puzzles/board games, dressing up things or more Playmobil to the relatives. We also get her 'fun' knickers, vests and socks in her stocking - Disney ones rather than the usual plain stuff. And I'm making a few bits of clothing for her dolls.

When she was 3 we got her a wooden kitchen plus food etc. I think...

My 3 year old is getting loads of sylvanian families stuff and lots of Disney princess stuff...

We tested her out with a sylvanian ice cream can and she's obsessed with it!
