Dishwasher?
For Christmas pudding vodka, I just put all the fruit, sugar and spices into a big kilner type jar with the vodka and shake it every so often for a few weeks.

Christmas pudding vodka?!!! Tell me more - is there a recipe?

bagelmonkey · 14/08/2011 07:22

There's probably an exact recipe somewhere, but I lost mine. Its basically a load of raisins, sultanas, currants, mixed peel etc with sugar, cinnamon stick and other Christmas pudding spices, soaked in vodka for a couple of months, shaking it ip every week or so. Then drain off the vodka into a bottle for Christmas.
The leftover fruit is great with ice cream too. :)

Someone gave me a fab recipe for blackberry vodka that i wouldn't mind trying!

That sounds lovely - thank you.

The blackberry vodka also sounds lovely. I made a good plum brandy a few years back that was popular at Christmas, maybe this year vodka is the way to go!
