Just wondering as it seems like a good time to buy DS1's birthday present in the sales, he's 4 in Feb. Lego Duplo and Playmobil road sweeper were his xmas presents :)

I'll second lego (city), rescue helicopter (from tesco, not sure the make), fighter jet & he loves a game called Gassy Gus (makes farting sounds so v popular with 4.5 year old boy)

Ben 10, Ben 10 and oh, did I mention Ben 10, anything at all - even a flannel from Primark. If it has Ben 10 on it, he's happy

Ben 10 anything at all, Hungry Hippos, Playmobil Dragon Castle. He still has a Kung Zhu hamster to unwrap (presents hidden up the tree that they've spectacularily failed to notice!) which i think will be a hit as well as dd got one in the summer and they fight over it constantly.

Remote controlled helicopter. Father got lots out of it too, but the toy itself probably won't last the week!

Lego aeroplane

As always with my son, the cheapest and most tackiest pressie, which santa bought him, a £1 slinky.
Just goes to show just how much of a waste of time and money it is to spend sooo much on kids pressies and nuy expensive gifts, well in my case anyway :)

Grown up lego, swampsters from elc, all things arts and crafts. 100 piece toy story jigsaw which he can do unaided Xmas Wink

goodmanners · 04/01/2011 20:44

lego city fire station, buzz lightyear.

dinkystinky · 04/01/2011 20:46

Imaginext air-sea rescue ship from my parents was his absolute favourite present. Closely followed by his kiddizoom camera and bag - he mostly takes photos of the carpet or a foot but is very happy with it and the little games on it too. He also got an octonauts book which he was delighted about and hungry hippos - 4 is the perfect age to play it.

frazzled74 · 05/01/2011 22:07

knex and buzz lightyear.
