What time did your LO's have you up?

4am here we managed to get him to lie with us in our bed til 4:30 but by then Dh and I were wide awake and DS was saying is it nearly 6am yet (he is 5.5 and we'd told him he couldn't getup before 6am). I was zonked by 10:30pm and tucked up in bed. We were definately the earliest up on our close.

My 2yo Ds came into us at 5am with a temp, watched Shrek, then went back to sleep, his sister got up at 8am and woke him up, we went down to open presents and Ds threw up all over the floor!

Great start to the day here!

Yuk...hope it better as the day went on.

I dosed him up with calpol and ibuprofen, he didn't eat a thing all day, was quite sleepy, has woken up today with an earache have dosed him up again and he's perked up.

ds was actually really good, he came in initially at 6am, we sent him back to bed. at 7.30 he came in to ask if FC had been, told him toi check his stocking. he went into his room and came running out shrieking "mummy, daddy he's been... he's been!!!!!"

DS woke up at 7.15am I was getting panicky by this point as I needed to get up and put the turkey on!!! DS then enthusiastically woke DD up!

DH however had been awake since 6am

dd1 woke at 11.30 on christmas eve night when she hearing dh creaking down the stairs after sorting her stocking out

thankfully she went back to sleep after inspecting the contents of her stocking and didn't wake up until 6.30 when dd2 woke the whole house up

We are very lucky in our house this Christmas...

DD got up at 7.30 - blissful lie-in as DP and I are both feeling absolutely crap.

My dad (and mum) who were staying with us was up at 6am though.

We went out to my sis's for dinner so it was a lovely relaxing morning. First time in 4 years we haven't done Christmas dinner.

I used to hate Christmas until I had my daughter, she makes it very special for us now.
