Ham joint cooking times question!!

does 20 mins per 450g sound about right for cooking times?

Am doing Nigella's fully festive ham but the one in the recipe is mahoosive and I have a paltry 2kg to cook :o

okay, have answered my own question by trawling through How To Eat. If you need the answer too........tis

30 mins per 500g plus 30 mins.

If ham is fridge cold when you start add 20-30 mins to the simmering time.

Mines on at the moment tulpe. Just making the leek and potato soup now.

how's it going? I decided to make the aromatic christmas ham instead. House smells gorgeously christmassy and am about to put them in oven :)

All veg/stuffing etc prepped for tomorrow.

2kg = 2 and a half hours according to Nigella Bites (i'm currently doing a 2.6kg one and have worked it out as 3 and a quarter hours.)
