At the beginning of November we were completely skint and hadnt bought one christmas present. We being stuggling since DH lost his job in july due a health problem that is still ongoing with hospital etc etc.
Managed to get some presents for the boys from some vouchers that some ladies sent me from another forum im on. So was looking forward to spoiling the boys and seeing their faces light up. Today we was planning on going to get a few bits for each other (me & DH) but things went shit, On Saturday our Fridge Freezer broke and we lost all our food :( Didnt realise it was off for about 8 hours!
Went through all papers, freecycle, Ebay no good due to delivery and date ends or pick ups. But then found a deal for £50 for a fridge and a freezer - we thought they were under counter fridge/frezzer but when DH went to pick up they were big larder fridge (brand new hotpaoint - left in sellers house when moved in, old occupant told them it was brand new and if they wanted it could ahve it) the freezer is a 6 drawer big one and i am soooo happy now, going shopping tomorrow for food and i csn finally look forward to a good christmas Me and DH are only buying one gift for each other now - as long as kids happy thats all that cares and we al have each other :)
