Unwanted Christmas Smellies

Mnetters, can I make a suggestion - if you get any unwanted smellies this Christmas - please consider giving them to your local Women's Refuge. Many of the families who stay there, often leave with their world in a bin bag. I know that I love that 10 mins in the bath and sometimes it's the little things that see you through.

Remember to give them a ring to let them know that you are going to call as security, of necessity, is very tight.

The refuge in my nearest town does not give out its address, but has a drop off point in town for donations.

Oh good thinking. Someone on here suggested Women's Aid when I had a load of baby clothes to pass on - they were really grateful. I'd never thought about them before that

Just to say that there is another option too, your local homeless hostel... as someone I know who worked there said to me, "It's amazing how much dignity there is in your own bar of soap." So if any of your chaps get unwanted stuff, it is another good cause to help out.
