Says it all reallyBlush

Ds1 in yr 1. Has 2 teachers and 1 TA.
Ds2 in nursery class at same school. Has 1 teacher and 2 TA. Ds2 had a bit of difficulty settling in and his teacher has been fantastic.

So, I could go to the 24hr Tesco when dh gets home (about 10ish tonight)

Or, is it ok to get a charitable gift as a joint present (World Vision etc) and a thank you gift from ds2 to his teacher?

either would be fine.

a card with a really nice message from you and a little picture from DC would also be fine.

You don't have to give them anything. I'm not doing teacher presents this year. Just can't afford too and i know they gets plenty from other children.

Im a teacher and if you came up to me and said how pleased you were with how your Ds's are getting on and thank you for all your help that would be lovely, I wouldnt expect you to rush out and get anything.

Could you make some biscuits? I did this yesterday and just wrapped them up nicely in some old glass jars - 10 biscuits in each(storage ones) I had in the cupboard, bit of ribbon and a tag - bobs your uncle! They went down v.well today!!!

A homemade card's a good idea. If you do want to do a charitable gift then Oxfam have some which are directly relevant like these. Or why not donate a boook to the classroom?

Some good ideas, thank you. Normally I would do the homemade biscuits/cakes but everyone in the house has got some sort of lurgy. Don't fancy passing on germsXmas Grin

Going to go with the charitable gift idea. I like some of the suggestions on that link thank you. (Would donate a book, but the boys go to a Welsh language school, and Tesco don't have a great selction of welsh books)
