Bloody zhu zhu pets, please help!!

Ok so i finished my christmas shopping, wrapped it all up and was feeling rather smug. DD1 only asked for lelli kellys which my mum has bought for her. Now, 9 days before the big day DD has asked for zhu zhu pets!!!!! Typical!

Money is pretty tight now and i don't know a thing about these zhu zhu pets! Please can anyone link to what i could get for DD that doesn't cost the earth but is decent?? And are they any good?

They cost about £9.99 and most supermarkets have them. They move around and squeak and chitter. DD has 2, DS has 1. I think they come under the 'intensely irritating rodent' category and ignore them as much as possible, DC do enjoy playing with them though.

Ah right thanks! So they just need the little mouse thingies then?? Oh i can do that i have seen all these colourful plastic tubes and homes they are meant to have and had no idea what to get!
