Is it just me this happens to?

DS2 requested a specific style of underwear; I have purchase same; now he says he wants boxer shorts instead.

And then DD had the much-wanted Brownie annual coming, had even wrapped it up - then last night she wins the competition for the most Brownie Points [sic] - prize - you've guessed it - Brownie annual!

looks like I need to brave the shops again on Sat with some more exchanging...

Anyone else keep getting thwarted at the last hurdle?

Me. I've been done for ages, but I know DH isn't going to do his job and go shopping for FIL. Every year I tell DH FIL is his dad, and he needs to figure out something for him, and I'll get something for MIL, but DH never does. I'm totally stuck this year, because FIL is 72 and has everything he wants, and I've been thinking about this for weeks, because I knew it was going to be up to me to get something again, and haven't thought of anything yet.

Me! Toy story 3 is wrapped along with quite a few dvd's in my DS's stocking and he brings one home with MIL, no doubt it will be the last dvd i open trying to find it.

Also found out that my friend, who we agreed we wouldn't do presents with have bought the DC something each so have to go out now and buy hers something, and i have to try and find my nephew something but it's his birthday tomorrow so i'm waiting to see whats left to buy :)
