Urgent KIDIZOOM question please!

DD has got a Kidizoom camera from my parents for Xmas (I know they're like Marmite but she loves using them at Playgroup)

But I just had a nagging thought - do I need a computer to set it up? Can't check requirements as it's already wrapped. And what about printing photos, can we take the card out and take it to a machine in boots? Or does it have to be via computer?

Our laptop died a few months back and no hope of a new one until the new year. DD has plenty of other stuff so I can rewrap it for her 4th birthday in June if necessary.

you dont need to set it up on a computer,
if you want to print without using a computer you will need to get her a memory card,as it doesnt come with one,(think its an sd card but check as im not 100%)
my dd was 3.5yo when she got hers and it has been GREAT:) she loves it and still loves it now (she is 4.5)
batteries last ages too :)

No, you can use them out the box. I've tested the first version and this year we got the new version and the camera in - they work fine once the batteries are in, though we didn't try printing anything off.
