Do such things exist??

The ones we have on the tree at the mo are literally eating through the electric money on the meter at a rate of knotts!

I got battery oprated one from Wilkinsons (but they are only small, but ideal for window) so you might be able to find longer strings of battery lights!

i got mine from tesco, and they say they are 'green' and a huge percentage(cant mind exactly how much!) more energy efficient than most.

thanks both of you, will be checking out Wilko and Tesco after dropping dd off at nursery in the morning. There's got to be something about that'll not eat all the money on the meter & leave me topping it up all the time

LED ones will use less

marriednotmulled · 15/12/2010 21:59

Agree TIY, LED is allegedly far less greedy on the electric.

lucysmam · 15/12/2010 22:01

Ta, I'll have a look for LED ones as well Xmas Smile
