Have you bought anything yet? What is your budget?

AnnieWinehouse · 15/12/2010 13:50

DD is 4.5 and apart from an overdose of Barbie stuff, we are getting her The Nutcracker book (she loves ballet), some dress-up dresses (snow white), and some lego.
Not that educational perhaps...

Jaslyn, the Nutcracker book we've got is a soft touch book we picked up at a Christmas fayre! It is a lovely story though. She has a ballet costume from her ballet school, but you can get them from various dance schools or costume shops.

Got our 4th old DD a styling head and roller skates plus lots of little things for her stocking such as hair clips, jigsaw, Little Miss books, pens, art stuff etc.

What about a personalised book? There are sevral sites - the one we chose had a choice of genres adn you just fill in details about your child and upload a photo. It arrived really quickly and looks fantastic.

Usborne doll dressing sticker books are brilliant and keep them busy for ages.

Does she like craft? You could get a load of paints and collagey bits.

My dd is 5 and has a subscription to Sparkle World magazine which her granny is renewing as a present. It has a 'workbook' in the centre (colouring, spot the difference, mazes, writing and simple maths etc) so it is educational as well as fun and appealing.

My DD loves those doll sticker books!

We have bought this for DD after someone on here reccommended it, it is very cute!
