ok not quite threw the window - but it's doing my head it - I HATE this part of it. Get me up a ladder hanging deorations from the ceiling no problems, tinsels round anything and everything, but lights on a tree? No - it defeats me every year.

I have 3 sets of lighs to choose from - a really long, a longish and a short - and every time I try and put any of them on it just looks STUPID.

Idiot proof ways to put a string of lights on a tree that makes it look like someone has made an effort rather than just thrown the lights at the tree.........PLEASE

Xmas Grin herb

Well I've picked up a "sick" (well travel sick I'm sure now given the pattern that's happened several times he's travelled this year......) DS1 from school, and he, in one attempt has nearly finished putting the lights on brilliantly Xmas Envy

I spent ages last saturday battling with the lights on the tree trying to get them even and not wrap myself up in them only for them to stop working on Sunday!

My sunday spent stripping my beautifully decorated tree of all its 100's baubles and lights and buy more before redressing it.

There are even more new lights now (240) but it does look much better and brighter. Plus these ones twinkle which the dd's love Grin
