Help me please think of a present for my fabulous best friend and her husband

They have been the best since the arrival of our dc 4 and although we are on a budget until i return to work i really want to get them something special but cant think for trying too hard !
Any ideas girls x

Are you thinking of food or an object. What sort of budget do you have 25p or ten pounds?

Maybe a themed hamper??

We made up a night-in hamper for SIL and BIL last year which went down very well, am also doing one for my brother and his girlfriend this year.
Ideas for contents:

DVDs (or DVD voucher)
Books
Popcorn (+ seasalt and toffee sauce)
Bottle of wine
Nibbles
Candles
Hot Choc and marshmallows etc

I think its a lovely thoughtful present as you can personalise it to their tastes and it doesn't have to be expensive.

Favourite things hamper (just a basket full of all the things they like)

ooh, yes, themed hampers are a great idea - cos you can go lavish or cheap, but it still looks impressive.

you just need a big cardboard box covered in christmas paper and some shredded paper to stuff it

What about baking them a cake? Or, if they have children, offering to take them for the night while your friends go to the cinema?
