No fuss Christmas tea

We are moving the week before Christmas.

We are going out for Christmas lunch but hosting my family and DHs in evening.

Quite possibly sitting on boxes.

There will be at least 15 of us. Everyone else will have eaten Christmas lunch at my sisters but we will have no leftovers.

What shall I buy that involves no hassle. Was thinking of cooking a ham and getting lots of bread, crisps, nice pork pie, pate and some mince pies.

And lots of booze.

Anything other tips?

Oh yes...ham cooked with a nice honeyglaze and some really gorgeous bread. Butter, cheese, crackers, basic salad things...just get bagged salads from M&S, leaf, coleslaw, potato salad....and a bottle of oil and one of balsamic...nice to dip your bread into as well as an easy dressing.

Get something like chocolae mousse for pudding...or ice cream.

I love meals like that.

If you are into cheese I found a gorgeous and really easy recipe for a baked camembert with garlic bread which could be nice?

Baked camembert. Its on the bbc christmas page under boxing day leftovers or something. Does that help?

Did baked camembert for the first time on Saturday night - it was bloody delicious Smile - and very, very easy Grin
