Do I buy two identical gifts or similar but different etc? We have got them both a doll and was going to get cot or highchair or something, but don't know......any ideas welcome!

Are they for your girls? If so then my dd had a set that changed from highchair to pushchair and bouncy chair which she loved. (I had to convert the damn thing but it wasn't difficult) You would have to get them one each but then both babies can sleep/eat/be walked at the same time. But if they are not you girls then I would get the dolls different outfits, if that's possible.

They are my girls, that sounds a great idea, especially if they have different colours available etc. thanks

You could buy them something the same but different too, like personalised with their names? Like this page

or this this?
