I need a gift for my brothers gf.

She is 28, very very high maintenance (sp?), likes designer labels and is the manager of a make up counter so make up is a no.

I have asked my brother for ideas but he still hasn't got back to me.

Don't want to spend any more than £10. Oh and choc is no good either as she is always on some stupid detox thingy.

BelovedCunt · 08/12/2010 17:02

bigchris · 08/12/2010 17:02

Accessorize voucher

ChristmasTrulyReigns · 08/12/2010 17:02

Blimey.

Cinema voucher?

storminabuttercup · 08/12/2010 17:02

wine maybe?

bigchris · 08/12/2010 17:02

Or bottle of cava

TheOriginalNutcracker · 08/12/2010 17:02

Hmm thing is she more than likely has some because she can get stuff like that mega cheap through work, so has millions of lotions and potions.

does she drink? Nice bottle of vino maybe?

storminabuttercup · 08/12/2010 17:03

morrisons have sancerre and chateaux neuf du pape (is that spelt right) half price at less than 7 quid!

PortlyBlackSantaUpAChimney · 08/12/2010 17:03

Cute cuddly effort on a keyring like you get in Accessorize

TheOriginalNutcracker · 08/12/2010 17:05

I would love to not bother, believe me.

She doesn't drink really so no alcohol.

Accessorize voucher is a good idea, although not sure it is upmarket enough for her taste lol.

Cinema voucher is a waste of time because my brother always pays Hmm

A makeup bag? Jewellery? Cosy slipper socks!

MadreInglese · 08/12/2010 17:07

an Oxfam goat

TheOriginalNutcracker · 08/12/2010 17:07

She has millions of make-up bags and lots of expensive jewellery.

My mum has got her socks, and I got her socks and something last year.

She likes David and Goliath stuff, do they do gift vouchers ?? Couldn't see anything about them on their site, and all of their stuff is too pricey for me to actually buy anything.

Oh she loves Twlight but has all of the dvds and things as far as I know.

TheOriginalNutcracker · 08/12/2010 17:08

TheOriginalNutcracker · 08/12/2010 17:13

I'm getting my twilight obsessed goddaughter thisbut she is 15....

ragged · 08/12/2010 17:15

I am fussy and have everything I want so would love donation to charity.
Unfortunately, the sorts of everything I have already does not include designer stuff, she doesn't sound like me at all(!).
I suggest gift vouchers to somewhere like Debenhams, or if you could spend a bit more, a voucher for a facial or pedicure, that type of thing.

TheOriginalNutcracker · 08/12/2010 17:15

Hmmm not sure about that mentalfloss, will bookmark it incase though.

What about a bottle of swish apple juice (Chegworth valley type thing), with mulling spices. Mulled apple juice is just as nice as mulled wine, and she can serve it to others if she doesn't want it herself. She may be gratified to be thought hospitable!

overmydeadbody · 08/12/2010 17:19

a bunch of flowers?

I wouldn't bother with anything too much really, if she has everything. She sounds spoilt.

SixtyFootDoll · 08/12/2010 17:19

30 day shred on DVD?
