I have bought one for dd1 (6), i managed to get one in the sainsburrys sale for £14 (its a set where you colour the clothes), dd1 is a tom boy and only really wanted it so she could colour the clothes (wont play with the doll) so i wouldn't have payed full price. Tesco's had some instore last week (on offer).

:( amazon is selling for 14 pounds plus 3.50 postage for a colour the clothes in one. and 11 for a basic one. It just seems completely pointless to me. dd is also a tomboy and has never played with any of her barbies or her bratz dolls that she has accumulated over the years.
should i just get it then?

I would go for the one where you colour the clothes (if she's anything like my dd then thats the reason she will want one), my dd has never showed any intersest in barbie type toys, her x-mas list is all 'hot wheels' and boy toys appart from this doll, she did ask for the moxie car (which you colour) but i said 'no'. The dolls look ok, you get 2 or 3 pens with them and apparently you can colour them more than once. I would get it if its £14 (wouldn't pay any more).
