Do you need to buy goose fat to cook the potatoes in or does it come ready to go straight into the oven?

Roast pots tend to come in a foil tray with oil/seasoning etc and you just bung in oven.

It'll tell you in the book usually what it comes with.
Just flicking through my xmas food book now...

The Connoisseurs veg pack has roast pots with beef dripping.

The veg selection with roast pots says it's veggy, so guessing they come with veg oil.

So assuming you're getting one of those no goose fat. I would warn though that from past experience the packs tend not to have enough roast pots. I do my own now and just buy veg packs without roast pots in them.

They do sell packs with goose fat roast pots though, but not in teh xmas book by the looks of it. Not sure if you're ordering from a different book that may have them or if you'll have to pick up off shelf when you go to collect your order.

I'll think I'l pick up a pack of goose fat roast pots when collecting the rest of it, we have friends round Christmas day and with a newborn and a toddler cooking is off the menu this year!

Just a heads up. If you're picking up an order and need someextra bits too then get a basket and pick up everything else you want first. Then head to get your order. Most m&s have an xmas pick up station set up and they let you pickup/pay for your order plus any extras at same time.

However if you get your order and then go get the rest you then have to queue again at the normal tills to pay for the extra (and the quese there is way longer).
