Help me find some affordable green garlands Please?

I really like traditional decorations but the fake green swags are so expenive! I don't see any point in just having a few...I want loads with massive white ribbons at the ends...its 10 pounds for even slim srands of ivy at only 160cm!

Can anyone help? I don;t mind if the garlands are thick or thin as long as they long and cheap!

Could you make some fresh ones with Holly, ivy and yew ? You'd probably only need rope, ribbon, florists wire and bits of bush.

I should have said that I really dont want to go down the fresh route...they' die too fast! I have done it before and central heating kills them within a couple of days.
