wanking cunting mice had my decorations earlier:(

I have just gotten the fabric advent calendars and stockings out, plus the santa sacks, due to fill advents now obviously.

I am actually sobbing, and DH does not understand why.

bastard mice have had them:(:(:(:(

I now need to go shopping urgently for fabric calendars, seeing as I have the stuff, but only have £25 budget for 5 of the things.

can you help??

I am going away for 10mins, need to eat and drink and calm down, and rant at the uncaring husband.

TIA

Great idea. I have enough odd socks for about 8 calendars. Where do they come from?

I feel your pain OP. The sodding mice ate all the christmas chocolates last year that I had stored in the attic (so I didn't eat them.) I cried as well as I had to go out and re-buy them. They went through all packaging that wasn't a metal tin.

Did you manage to sort it out today psychomum?

psychomum5 · 01/12/2010 23:12

all sorted:o:o

have spent a crafty day, now got new advents (went to get fbric and there were mitten advents for £3), with names sewn on in sequins.

and I have a lovely mini dolls house one for me, with transfers, all for less than £6.

happy psycho now:o

well, bar the fact that as I unpacked the xmas table linen for washing, I found that eaten too

hoping like hell they are all dead!!!!!!!

Well done - the mittens calendar sounds lovely! Smile

Hurray for happy ending (apart from nibbled table linen)
I would agree that cats are very much a swings and roundabouts solution to mice, my mother went downstairs one Xmas morning to discover ours had eaten half a turkey leg. (it wouldn't fit in the fridge and she thought she'd left it out of the cat's reach, ha ha)
