Does your dh/dp do christmas cards?

Another thread got me thinking about this...

Does your dh/dp buy any cards? Does he write any? If so who to?

I buy the cards. Dh writes one to his parents and one to his sister. He doesn't send any to friends or more distant family.

I buy all the cards for the family but I get DH to write on the card to his Aunt as she commented one year that she liked him to write hers!! He writes on the boys cards and adds kisses after I've written on them. He doesn't do any wrapping of pressies or tag writing though but I enjoy doing it anyway.

I buy the cards, I point out the cards to DH, what follows is up to him. If he doesn't write cards for his family, they don't get any. I came up with this policy after years of writing the lot, including cards to people I can't stand. MIL and SIL find me dreadfully harsh on poor baby husband. I find them wet and wonder why they subject themselves to the same old crap every year when their husbands do nothing. Similarly, presents in which DH played no part, ie most of themm, go out marked from me and DS, not him. Given the chance he will leave it all to me and I have more than enough to do, thanks. So I just say no!
