She has her birthday on the 12/12 aswell as xmas.

Main present for b'day is a mobile, and main pressie for xmas is a bike, but I have nothing else, oh except for one book lol.

She is so hard to buy for and anything she has mentioned has been passed on to relatives who were asking what to get her, so now I am stuck.

She likes animals and books and has quite a mad sense of humour.

Not into make-up and clothes really.

Any ideas would be fab Smile

Your 117 year old typo made me smile on a day when I am not smiling too much :)

Thats quite old! Zimmer frame?

My brother adopted a horse for me one year which I loved.

Crumbs! As her Mother you must be record breakingly ancient :o

iPod touch?

TheOriginalNutcracker · 26/11/2010 15:15

My pleasure Noah Smile

I did think of an ipod, but she already has an mp3 player.

She has asked for cd's and games from relatives, which is what i'd usually bulk up her list with.

My mum is getting her a new dressing gown etc, and I always get new pj's for xmas too.

She likes writing stories and drawing too, but have only seemed things for younger children related to that.

iPod Touch is a bit more than an mp3 player, it's a mini wifi computer, she can access emails, surf the Internet, play lots of games.

TheOriginalNutcracker · 26/11/2010 15:19

Ah i'd rather her not be able to surf the net unsupervised though. She can be a bit sneaky wrt that lol.

LOL at typo, sorry have no actual useful suggestions

I think a mobile and a bike are quite big presents. But if you'd like to/can afford to buy more. . .
What about accessories for both?
eg phone case? pretty things to dangle off it?
Or for bike, water bottle? flashing lights? bag attachment thing?

Other than that I would say book voucher? I know it sounds boring, but older kids really love the chance to poke around and buy something they fancy in a bookshop that they would never normally buy.

Or something crafty, like fimo, or some beautiful new soft crayons, or a little watercolour set and watercolour paper?

If she likes writing, how about a lovely notebook and pen from Paperchase?

Drawing - a good sketchbook. Pastels. A tin of watercolour pencils. Charcoal. A canvas and some paints.

VoldemortsNipple · 27/11/2010 10:49

clock (one with an alarm be start to be very useful over the next couple of years)
wallart
nice hatboxes to keep her bits in

photo frames for pic of her friends

Other ideas
