Secret Santa for 11 year old girl...

Ds is very excited. His form tutor has suggested they do a class secret santa and they have drawn names out of a hat plastic bag. They can spend a max of £5 and have been told if they can't think of anything just to get chocolate...

The first attempt was a disaster because everyone simply went up to the person they got and either asked what kind of thing they liked or told them they picked their name. So the names went back in the hat again and were redrawn after explaining it's meant to be secret! Grin

OK so now he has got a girl who we know nothing about. Only info I can glean without getting him to ask what she likes it being too obvious is that she hs a black school bag and a hello kitty pencil case.

Any thoughts on what I he could get?

Something from accessorize or claire's accessories
sparkly bracelets etc
or lip gloss

My 11 DD loves flavoured lip balms - she and her friends always seem to be whipping them out of their blazer pockets and applying them Smile. Lush have some nice smellies as well. If she has longish hair hair-clips with fabric flowers on them seem to be fashionable as well, I've seen them in Accessorize. Hope this helps.

Thanks, it does. School has a very strict no make up and no jewellry (not even earrings) policy so thinking lipgloss would be out. But lipbalm might be acceptable perhaps.

Gilly just thought of something else! my daughter always takes to school one of those hair brushes that folds into it's self, they are usually in Boots or Superdrug (although for some strange reason we bought the last one at Waitrose!)

how about a hello kitty watch
i bought one for my friends DD for her b'day but it is too big for her. she is only 4 though so would be ideal for an 11yr old.
