what are you all buying 7 yr old dd's?

i need some ideas for relatives to buy.

I've bought her a DSi as her main thing, but smaller things include a box set of the 1st 10 Famous Five books, PJs, a hat and scarf from Claires, a Wii game and some CDs and books.

Mine is getting a mobile phone (don't ask!!!! Long story!) and a full sized whiteboard ?? It's all she asked for!

I wouldn't dream of buying my 7 year old dd a mob ile or dsi (but obv lots of people do .

She's getting a Puffin Post subscription, some high heeled dress up shoes (barf I know) and a stocking.

DD1 was 7 last Christmas.

She got a cheap digital camera from us, which is rubbish but she loves it and has taken some gloriously eccentric photos.

Other "hits" - a large dolphin shaped cushion, a dolphin calendar (she's into dolphins, can you guess!) CDs. Sewing stuff. Clothes, oddly enough. I hated getting clothes, but she seems to quite like it.

I've bought my seven yr old neice a Hama beadcraft set

Some sylvanian family stuff, a chatimal, one of those dodgy fur real ponies that eats carrots (only because she begged) and books, dvds and a wii game.

DD got a scooter as her main present last year - she was 7y then.

Sylvanian families are always popular here. Last year DD also gpt Zhu Zhu pets.

I think we're going with a joint present of trampoline! however roller skates have also been requested

Dd's having a playmobil school,arts and craft stuff,books,a fibre optic lamp, tiaras and board games.

Playmobil school and dsi as main presents from us.
From others, aqua bead things, in my pockets, David Attenborough boxed set, Free Willy Boxed set,
And there'll be a carrier bag full of hideously trollopy Primark clothes from my half sister which will go straight to the PDSA shop.

i love the look of playmobil school. my dd is getting dsi from father christmas and lots of arty crafty stuff. I am tempted to buy the school as joint present for her and ds.my relatives like to buy individual pressies so i cant ask them to club together.
