Christmas present ideas for SIL

I hardly know her, she is 40 and I wouldn't know what to get her to read etc.

I was thinking of some nice body lotion or something from Clarins but I always get her "smellies."

Any other ideas? DPs brother isn't much help with suggestions either.

Nice candle.
Bottle of Baileys.
Vase.
Picture frame.
Nice cushion.

Like the idea of Baileys. Can't go far wrong with booze :) (though I am pg so maybe just lusting after booze for me)

Or one of the oxfam-gift aid things (sponsoring a goat or something like that)?

BubbaAndBump - I have no idea what alcohol she likes apart from wine but I am looking forward to Baileys season.

Unfortunately the Oxfam idea would probably not impress her too much. She can be a bit snooty. Hence why we don't see them much!

With Christmas being just around the corner, I'm sure your baby will be here before you know it.

DD was nearly a month early btw so you might not have to wait as long as you think!

I would LOVE to get her an Oxfam gift but DP might want to get a more commercial gift.

Speaking as a snooty 40 year old, I'd like a photo frame out of everything you've mentioned.

Have tried to think of something I'd like for Christmas instead of a bottle of Baileys, and think you'd be fairly safe with any of the following

Emma Bridgewater things (agree with both of Taffetacat's suggestions actually)
