Anyone tried Heston's Waitrose Christmas pudding?

I know you should wait until Christmas but anyone had it already? What did you think?

ooooh. is that the one with the whole orange inside? i was drooling over it on the tv advert and dh piped up "errrrrrrrr, that looks really disgusting! why would anyone have one of those?"

so i won't be getting one, but really fancy one....could someone send me a piece??!!

I think it looks lush, not sure about the peel and pith though, that why I wanted to know if anyone had tried it.

Well I have made candied fruit cakes and I think they are bloody horrible. Very sweet and cloying - but that may be my cooking

Why oh why would anyone want a whole bloody orange in their Christmas pudding?

I'm hoping someone will turn up on this thread who has actually tried one! I have seen them advertised and was intrigued .... but not enough to go and buy one!
