Best place for Nativity costumes?

DC are in the nativity play and naturally we need to provide their costumes.

I don't sew so need to buy them as cheaply as possible. Apart from Ebay, do you have any cheapish suggestions?

TIA !

What are they?

Tesco, Sainsburys and Asda have some.

EnnisDelMar · 19/11/2010 14:16

What do you need?

The supermarkets are usually good, I've had some from sainsburys, tesco and asda in the past.

Woolworths online also had some last year.

shepherds / possibly joseph but reckon same costume would do for either part.
how much should i expect to pay in the supermarkets as Ebay BIN going for £10 ?

thanks v much.

Do you have to buy them yourself? My ds's primary had shepherd outfits (big supply after years of buying a few I would guess) So before you spend out check you actually need to get it.

Asda has shepherds for £8 complete with a crook and lamb.

Nativity costumes would be easy enough to throw together from what you have at home. Or even a few bits from charity shop to really keep cost down. No sewing required just pair of sissors. A stripy mens shirt tied with a length of fabric does joseph/ shepherds etc. A bit of fabric for the headress then
