Presents for boys - 7, 9, 10 yo

I need to get presents for friends' kids and am stumped at what to get for three 7 yo boys (can get them all the same thing as they don't know each other), a 9 yo and a pretty mature 10 yo.

They're lovely kids but we only see them twice a year and so I don't know what they're in to really. They are also all pretty lucky and will have every cool present going.

I want to spend c£15 each and maybe up to £25 on one of the 7yo's presents (my godson)

Thanks very much for any suggestions.

Lego is very popular with boys of this age. Loads of sets in series like 'atlantis', 'city', 'toy story', 'harry potter', etc. Lego board games are nice too.

Or a jigsaw (some some nice horrible histories ones in hobbycraft, 200 pieces I think),
20Q,
toy story stuff (disney store),
stationery stuff always needs replacing
something for their room like a lava lamp (amazon around £10-£12)
torch.

Hawkins Bazaar have good things for boys too, if you have one near you. My DS loves those pin things that you can press your hand or face into to make a relief picture.

The 10 year old might like a gift voucher from Top Man, or an iTunes voucher?

(I have an 8 year old boy, in case you were wondering!)

Horrid Henry Annual all the way! Or if they're into them gogo (hard to get) or football annual.

Otherwise really depends what they're into...
My ds hates football and fighting type stuff. He also has lego but isn't keen on it much. However he is mad on cars, likes formula 1, computer games, gogos etc

Many years ago I got my nephew of similar age a grown up wallet (with a note in of course). Went down well.

Oh and there was a suggestion ages ago for a chocolate bar with a £10 note wrapped round it. I think my ds would be thrilled with a gift like that. I've adapted it and got him a gogo's collectors tin in which he gets gogos plus gold coins plus a £10 note...

Any of the National Geographic or Science Museum gadgets and kits.

Football stuff (eg duvet covers etc in their teams' colours)

Board games (Simpson's Cluedo, Golden Balls, Risk)

Guinness book of Records, and similar

Tennis rackets

Games for DSes or other consoles (Professor Layton series, Harry Potter, Star Wars)

I got my nearly 8yr old ds1 a fossil kit from ebay (about £10 cheaper than buying from the company's own website).

Skateboard (some cheap offers at argos).

Art/craft/stationery items.

Magic/chemistry kit.

Night vision goggles.
