Love to hear what you're planning to give your DD as Christmas stocking pressies - she's totally over the pink fluffy stage and really in that "in between pre-teen " stage, thank you!

My dd (nearly 9) and I were browsing in Accessorize yesterday, and there were loads of nice things in there - chap sticks that looked like milk shakes, staitionary, pens, hair bobbles, bracelets etc, stickers, key rings!

tummytickler · 18/11/2010 10:53

I find dd really easy for this kind of thing - she is 9.6, and in her stocking she will be getting

bracelets and neclaces
Hair accessories
joke book
CD
nice art supplies
posh chocolate
new socks
spy gadgets
small cuddly toy
lip balms and cute bubble bath set
astronout food

OhYouBadBadKitten · 18/11/2010 10:57

tis harder when girls don't like girly stuff!
dd will be getting bath bombs and a little cook book and ermm..... dunno, some pony stuff maybe? kind of tempted by a pen knife. Also some not chocolate and some fun food bits.

SerendipityAlways · 18/11/2010 11:17

Yes, shes moving away from a lot of the more traditional girly stuff, into her ipod and her clothes etc at the moment. Some great suggestions there though..

'not chocolate'? that would be cruel - meant 'hot chocolate' !

iloveblue · 18/11/2010 15:46

Try this website - makes me wish I had a daughter to buy for!

asdx2 · 18/11/2010 18:57

itunes voucher, cinema tickets, word search book, piggy bank

Boots 3for2s are great. They have loads of pre teen ranges and they're not all pink and fluffy.

Pre teen boys... now they are a problem.

QOD · 18/11/2010 19:42

whats astronout food?

tummytickler · 18/11/2010 19:51

QOD it is dehydrated ice cream and strawberries, supposedly the same as that they take on board a space shuttle. Comes in little pouches and very cheap

Yes thanks ChristmasT, and thanks in particular for the Heidi Seeker bags, they look like fun! Have you bought these before? Typically whats in a bag?

ChristmasTrulyReigns · 20/11/2010 18:09

Bought one for DD1's 11th birthday.

She had:

The bag.
Blue tshirt with HS logo on.
Cupcake brooch.
Lightning keyring.
Funky green purse.
Hairslides.
A pen.
Alice band.

I think it's good value and they get a real buzz opening them!!

SerendipityAlways · 22/11/2010 12:29
