I just bought a chair from Millhouse at Home and they seem to have loads of UK made wooden toys

I've bought from www.woollymammothtoys.co.uk/ Woolly Mammoth Toys before. Great service.

This is a lovely shop in my home town which also has an online shop, they have some lovely traditional toys (although I prefer the grown-ups section myself!)

Toy Ahoy - we found this little gem of a shop in Minehead, owned by the loveliest, kindest man who couldn't have been more helpful. I'll happily pass on their details Smile

I've used Holz Toys in the past.

Based in Cornwall. Standard delivery is usually amazingly quick, and service is great.

KarenHL · 17/11/2010 20:44

Forgot to add, Plan Toys (I think they're based in Germany) are brilliant. Holz stock them, but it might be worth seeing if you can find any on Ebay.

Tickety Boo are in the town where I live, I can vouch for them.

we used to buy letterbox stuff but I'm sure I have got stuff from amazon using a filter for wooden toys. I only buy wooden stuff for nephews/nieces and godchildren

hophophippidtyhop · 17/11/2010 21:28

moragbellingham · 17/11/2010 21:35

toyday for traditional and wooden toys are good.

Omarama · 17/11/2010 21:42

You can also just search wooden toys on amazon. They stock plan, pintoy,Melissa and doug, brio etc.
Would recommend the wooden wonder musical blocks, fab present. Also wooden trike or push along pram.

moorlandmum · 10/01/2011 21:44

yep! Try emiliehadashop.co.uk ( I'm told it's a Bagpuss reference! ) they do loads of quite unique things as well as Le Toy Van, Melissa and Doug, Big Jigs, Janod....And the shop itself is well worth a visit if you're in the area too
