In your position, I'd head straight to the make up counters/Space NK and look for something 'treaty', like a tinted lip balm or fab eyeshadow from a high end brand. Who wouldn't like this?

Or get her a stylish 'entertaining'-type cookery book. Everyone like a cookery book, even if she doesn't cook, it'll be nice to look through.

Oh yes, Space NK / Bobbi Brown / MAC for make-up, or Jo Malone / Molton Brown for posh bubble bath/handwash.

Yep definatley makeup . Maybe you could get that juicy tubes set from lancome think its £15 . Or seen a clinique mini lipglosse set on a keyring, I love that ! Quirky and stylish . They also might have some sort of gift set from mac in selfridges/ kendals etc. I have seen some mac sets online so stylish its the tartan collection but cheapest is £23.50 that I have seen but that was online, they might have some offers on or more gifts in stores mentioned above.
