Do you still decorate if you're going away for Christmas?

DS and I are going up to the GPs on the 19th, DH following on Christmas Eve. DS is 13mo so it's his first Christmas really Grin

Would you get a tree, decorate etc or am I being daft? On the other hand, would it be bah humbug to do nothing?

I had the same issue last year.
We went away on the 23rd and got back on the 28th.
I didn't decorate.
That was the right decision last year, but I'm looking forward to putting up the tree this year.

Yes but I arrange pay for a Fairy local teenager to take them down before I get back

This year is only the second that we've been at home in 7 years. Always decorate - including tree (although we're rarely away more than 4-5 days...)

Of course!

We have tree up from mid december til Twelfth Night.

We are only going to be away for two or three nights (thank gawd).

We are and we won't. Thanks goodness in my mind. Am pg and exhausted and not really feeling like guarding a tree from DD who is 21 months.

I am more than happy to go back to The Village for this years' holiday and let all the other eyes in the family keep watch on her.
