Smallish present for niece and nephew aged 9 and 11?

OK, so not technically niece and nephew but BIL's stepchildren (basically, although they are not actually married, but it's the same thing). There is also the baby who does belong to BIL (she'll be about 18 months I think).

DP said today 'do you think we should get them something?' I said I thought it would be nice and that I would ask MN for suggestions.

So, smallish things for a girl aged 9 and a boy aged 11? Any suggestions?

DD is 8y (9y this acadeic year) - really do recommend the fashion Angels and Klutz. they seem very popular amongst her friends too.

Don't forget Boots are doing 3 for 2, if you need to buy for the baby as well.

Probably do need to buy something for the baby but was just going to let DP loose in Toys R Us and get something that makes an annoying noise (the joys of being the uncle/aunt and not the parents)
