Ignoring tackiness and potential judgey-pants fodder, can anyone recommend a site for personalised number plates?

There seems to be a plethora of nasty-looking sites that make me mistrustful...

The one I want (for DH - doesn't spell his name or anything!) is available, but goes from £159 on some sites to £250 on DVLA.

You Need to check out the website as normally you will find that these websites add charges afterwards which will take it up to the price you pay on DVLA. The £159 wil be the basic price.

On DVLA all the transfer fees/charges etc are included in the price you see.

Do they have a plate reading MY AR5E, that would be genius. I'd totally buy that.

dvla is the best place to look as they include everything in price - the cheaper one don't intend to include the dvla fee you need to transfer documents.

I used the dvla too (all the other websites weren't including extra fees as the others have said)
